Volatility. Measure of the tendency of a liquid to vaporize;
vapor pressure.

Water Bottom.
Free water which has settled to the bottom of a
storage tank.
Water Drawoff. A valve or similar device used to remove water

Water Slug Shutoff. A valve in the discharge piping from a
filter/separator which closes automatically when the water in
the unit rises above a set level.
Wax. Viscous or solid high molecular weight hydrocarbon
substance; paraffin.
Weatherproof. Type of enclosure for electrical apparatus for
outdoor service in nonhazardous areas.
Wharf. A landing place where vessels tie up to load or
unload; pier.
