Communications and Information Engineering Management. EI for
communications and information systems is centrally managed by 38 Engineering
Installation Wing (EIW ), Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma . The 38 EIW provides these
services with a mixture of active duty engineering and installation units, Department of
Air Force civilian personnel, and contract vehicles. These E&I resources do not
preclude MAJCOM and host base communications and information systems
activities/units from developing local contracts for these services.
