Shore-to-Ship Power Cables and Connectors. Portable shore-to-ship
power cables are rated 8000 volts for operating at 4160 volts, three-phase, three-wire,
ac or 600 volts for operating at 450 volt, three phase, three-wire ac. Both 4160 V and
480 V shore power systems are ungrounded (the transformer neutrals are isolated from
ground).
