Comply with UFC 3-120-01 Air Force Sign Standard and USAF symbol
new construction and renovation projects. These guidelines now mandate that base

Facility identification signs must meet the requirements in the Installation
Design Standards.

Markings
The following guidelines are provided for markings in the ECF.
Provide individual broken lane lines for each lane.
Consider dotted transition lines for reversible lanes.
Consider the use of double yellow broken lines on both sides of a reversible
lane.
Provide, repair, or upgrade crosswalks impacted by the ECF.
Use solid yellow lines, delineators and chevron markings to indicate
obstructions between lanes traveling in different directions and reversible lanes.
