5-3.3.1
General.
The Navy is awaiting an ASTM document under the Subcommittee F25.07 task
group on fenders that will develop a performance specification for marine
fenders. From this point the Navy can develop a more comprehensive UFGS
covering marine fenders as well as more definitive design criteria.
