Use furniture consisting of a desk or workstation, credenza with overhead
storage, file cabinet, two office armchairs, and desk chair.

Provide quad power/data/telephone outlets on at least three walls of the
office, or one per staff member. Provide additional outlets as needed to operate
additional equipment and task lighting in each office or workstation.

COPY/GRAPHICS ROOM. This optional space is generally only included
in larger facilities. Service Exception: The Army and Air Force require the
Copy/Graphics Room in every facility. It provides room for staff to design and produce
the numerous brochures and pamphlets generated for the FSC programs. It should be
located away from programmatic distractions, be conducive to computer-based design
work, and have space for document production such as worktables and photocopiers.

Provide the following design elements:
Casework for storage of supplies and equipment. Casework should
consist of base and wall cabinets with minimum 610-mm-deep (24-in.)
counter top;
Dedicated power and data outlets for computers, network printers,
scanners, and copiers;
Additional data outlets as needed to operate additional equipment such as
a light table, poster/banner maker, etc.

Consider providing a work/layout table for collating printed documents and
laying out graphics. If a door is provided consider including a vision panel or a sidelight.

STAFF BREAK-ROOM. This staff-only space is used for staff training,
meetings, breaks, and lunches. If a Teaching Kitchen is provided (see paragraph 4-7),
consider locating the staff break-room immediately adjacent to the kitchen or designing
the kitchen in such a way that it can be used as the staff break-room when it is not used
programmatically.

Provide the following design elements:
Base cabinetry and counter surfaces with sink. A 610-mm-deep (24-in.)
counter top is recommended. Base cabinets should be lockable;
Additional outlets at counter top height for convenience;
A tackable bulletin board and/or a dry-erase board;
