activity areas--dining, bar and

relationship to the kitchen--govern
the planning of the club. Other
areas, such as toilets, storage,
etc. , a r e dependent on the layout
o f these main areas.
6-2.1.2 Of the main activity
spaces-- m u l t i - u s e , d i n i n g , a n d
bar--the latter is most appropri-
ately located adjacent to
t h e entrance.
In this location the
bar can most conveniently fulfill
its function as a socializing,
meeting, and waiting space. In
addition, a central location ena-
b l e s the bar conveniently to serve
t h e d i n i n g , m u l t i - u s e and party
r o o m s without the need for
s e p a r a t e service bars.

e n t r a n c e , there are three basic
circulation arrangements that
relate entry to the bar, multi-use
a n d dining room, while providing
g o o d kitchen access to all three.
