UM = FP
Number of firing positions - two trails. Which constitutes one lane, which equals 1 FP per range.
Firing line width - 50 meters (minimum).
Target area width - NA. Firing point configuration - numbered markers on each trail.
Target configuration - 20 stationary vehicle targets, four moving vehicle targets, 50 E-type silhouette targets placed in tactical
arrays along trails. Stationary vehicle targets are frontal views; moving targets are flank. The range uses the target array for
tank or BFV Table IX. Bradley suppressive fire engagements may require up to four sets of Stationary Infantry Targets (SIT)
patterned in a "W."
Target array and firing position/distance scenarios are according to Table VIII in the appropriate reference (FM 17-12-1, FM
23-1).
Construction Cost Factor (CCF)
,166,681.31/FP, based upon data provided by USACE Engineering & Support Center,
Huntsville. FAC is composed of multiple category codes. CCF was based upon Army catcodes 17864 and
17865. Per the Army's inventory, catcode 17864 represents 55% of the total and cc17865 represents 45%
of the total. Values for individual ranges at the category code level were developed and weighted in
accordance with the above percentages.
Sustainment Cost Factor (SCF)
,453.27/FP, based on RS Means data and Source 1 SCFs developed for other FACs (i.e. FAC
8712 Retaining Structure), and using the components listed in the USACE standard drawings. SCF was
based upon Army catcodes 17864 and 17865. Per the Army's inventory, catcode 17864 represents 55% of
the total and cc17865 represents 45% of the total. Values for individual ranges at the category code level
were developed and weighted in accordance with the above percentages.
