Characteristics:
Range area: - width is 1500 meters, depth is 4500 meters. - 3 lanes with 6 trails.
Firing point configuration - fighting positions, hull-down defilades.
Target configuration - 12 moving armor targets, 60 stationary armor targets, 153 stationary infantry targets, 45 moving E-type silhouette
infantry targets. Target locations will be based on site adaptation.

NOTES: 1. MAT aerial gunnery emplacements are designed for aerial, tank, and BFV gunnery. Other MAT emplacements are to be designed
for tank and BFV gunnery only. All armored target emplacements are designed for aerial, tank, and BFV gunnery.
5. Moving armored target emplacements are 350 meters long. Moving Infantry target emplacements are 15 meters long.
Construction Cost Factor (CCF)
,659,576.52/FP, based upon data provided by USACE Engineering & Support Center,
Huntsville. FAC is composed of multiple category codes. CCF was based upon Army catcodes 17866,
17867 and 17868. Per the Army's inventory, catcode 17866 represents 4% of the total, cc17867 represents
5% of the total and cc17868 represents 93% of the total. Values for individual ranges at the category code
level were developed and weighted in accordance with the above percentages.
Sustainment Cost Factor (SCF)
,132.18/FP, based on RS Means data and Source 1 SCFs developed for other FACs (i.e. FAC
8712 Retaining Structure), and using the components listed in the USACE standard drawings. SCF was
based upon Army catcodes 17866, 17867, and 17868. Per the Army's inventory, catcode 17866 represents
4% of the total, cc17867 represents 5% of the total and cc17868 represents 93% of the total. Values for
individual ranges at the category code level were developed and weighted in accordance with the above
percentages.
