When the two sides of an MP facility are equally
exposed to public view, it is desirable to pro-
vide some overlap of the necessary screen-
ing for secure parking. This will conceal the
access to the private side of the building and
soften the contrast between the public and
private sides.

By the use of plan organization a more
desirable ratio of exposed public side to pri-
vate side may be achieved. Developing
administrative functions along much of the
building perimeter (where these spaces benefit
from available natural light and the resulting
exterior view is more open) minimizes required
screening and minimizes a desirable image to
the community.
