Chapter 7
c. Exchange Cafeterias, Snack Bars
and Snack Stands
(1) Description. A cafeteria or snack bar may be pro-
vided in conjunction with the exchange main retail store,
preferably as an element of the Community Activity
Center. At installations with a military strength over
3,000 snack stands may be provided to supplement food
exchange services.
(2) Space Allocation. See Table 7 - 38 and 7 - 39.
(3) Relationships. Snack bars, snack stands and cafe-
terias should be easily accessible and visible from areas
of intense activity. They should be located to reinforce
the attractive, multi-functional design of Community Activ-
ity Centers, and to serve the diverse range of users of
the facilities.
