,953,937.40/EA, based on historical data provided by all the Services. Calculation of cost
factors for this FAC are complicated by the use of a UM of EA. Commercial sources use a UM of TN to
define cranes. No estimate of the "average" crane could be made based on existing inventory data. Values
were inflated to FY04 $ using the appropriate factors as published by OSD.
Sustainment Cost Factor (SCF)
,484.65/EA, the sustainment factor was calculated using data supplied by the Navy, as no
other auditable data was available. Data provided was based on a maintenance contract for a 165 TN stiff
leg derrick.
